AFK Chicken Farm – Minecraft Bedrock

In this guide, you’ll find all the necessary steps, that are needed to make a Chicken Farm in Minecraft.

What you need:

You’d need the following materials:

50 Blocks
3 Glass
3 Chests
3 Hoppers
2 Dispensers
2 Redstone
2 Repeaters
2 Comparators
1 Slab
1 Trapdoor
1 Lava

Follow the steps below to make the farm.

Step 1: Start off by placing a chest. Connect a hopper to the back.

Step 2: Make sure the hopper is connected correctly.

Step 3: Place a slab on top of the hopper.

Step 4: Place a block behind the hopper and place 2 dispensers on top.

Step 5: We now have to connect a hopper to the lower dispenser.

Step 6: Place a double chest to this directly on top of the hopper.

Step 7: Now, connect a hopper to the chest at this side.

Step 8: It should look like this.

Step 9: Place a solid block below the chest.

Step 10: Place another block. Place a comparator and a repeater.

Step 11: Make sure they are facing the right way.

Step 12: Place blocks right here.

Step 13: Place another comparator on this block.

Step 14: Make sure to click on the comparator.

Step 15: Place some more blocks.

Step 16: Place a repeater facing into the lower dispenser.

Step 17: Place 2 Redstone right here.

Step 18: Check if you placed 2 comparators, 2 repeaters and 2 Redstone.

Step 19: Place a Lava bucket in the upper dispenser.

Step 20: We now have to close everything off. Place the blocks exactly like this.

Step 21: Make sure to also place the glass in the same places as I do.

Step 22: Now go to this hopper and make a wall around it.

Step 23: Make this wall 1 block higher so the chickens can’t escape.

Step 24: Our farm is almost done.

Step 25: Make a dirt bridge like this, so you can go up easily.

Step 26: We now have to get around 20 chickens in this cage.

Step 27: You can use eggs to get the chickens.

Step 28: Or you can lure 2 chickens into your cage using seeds.

Step 29: Once you have around 20 chickens you are good to go.

Step 30: I recommend placing a trapdoor so they can’t glitch out.

Step 31: Sometimes there might be a glitch that will cause the lava to not go away.

Step 32: You can fix this by placing a button on the lower dispenser.

Step 33: Click the button once and it should be fixed.

Step 34: If you don’t do this when your lava is glitched then all the baby chickens will die.

Step 35: Whenever a chicken lays an egg it will get dispensed like this.

Step 36: And once one grows up it will get killed and the loot will go into the chest.
