Astroneer is an adventure game with a multiplayer mode. It is developed by System Era Softworks and is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. An astronaut is called an astroneer. The player controls the astronaut by foot, car, or spacecraft. The astronaut explores planets, builds structures, and collects resources.
Where is the save game folder in Astroneer?
You can find the Astroneer save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and go to Local. You will find the Astro folder inside it, open it up and navigate to Saved -> SaveGames.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Astro\Saved\SaveGames
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
