Best Electric Pokémon in Sword & Shield

Pokémon Sword and Shield was just released and, like always, there are plenty of new Pokémon to catch. Which ones will be the best? This guide will tell you the best Electric Pokémon in Sword & Shield.

Manectric

Manectric is an Electric type Pokémon, also known as the Discharge Pokémon. It was introduced in Generation 3, it is 1.5 m tall and weighs 40.2 kg. Manectric’s abilities are Static and Lightning Rod. The Manectric’s Speed stat (base 45) is low, but you can catch it easily at full health. Its base friendship is 50 and its base experience yield is 166, which is slow. The egg cycles of these pokemon are 20 (4,884–5,140 steps). 

Morpeko

Morpeko is a double-sided electric Pokémon having the ability to generate  electricity with the sacs in its cheeks. With its Hunger Switch ability, Morpeko gets more powerful when it’s hungry. It is 0.3 meters tall and weighs 6.6 pounds. It is medium fast, and its base friendship is 50. The egg cycles of these pokemon are 10 (2,314–2,570 steps). 

Rotom

Rotom is an Electric-type Pokémon, known as the Plasma Pokémon, due to its Ability Levitate. It was introduced in Generation 4. It has a height of 0.3 meters and a weight of 0.3 kilograms.  It has the ability to generate and control plasma, making it one of the most versatile Pokémon in the game. Training EV yields 1 Special Attack and 1 Speed; catch rate is also 5.9% with PokéBall, but falls to 45 (5.9%) when Rotom is at full health; base Friendship is 50 (normal) but can be increased by feeding it special items; and base Exp. is 154 but can be increased by training it often. The egg group of this pokemon is amorphous. This pokemon is genderless. The egg cycles of the pokemon are 20 (4,884–5,140 steps).

Vikavolt

Vikavolt is a Bug/Electric-type that was introduced in Generation 7. It’s a Stag Beetle Pokémon that you can find in the Alola region and some other regions as well. It has a high Special Attack and is medium-sized with a weight of 45 pounds. It boasts three special attacks EVs, and its base friendship is 050. It’s fast to level up, and it has a base experience yield of 225. The egg cycles of these pokemon are 15 (3,599–3,855 steps).

Arctozolt

Arctozolt is an Electric/Ice-type Pokémon, also known as the Fossil Pokémon. It was introduced in Generation 8, and it has the abilities of Volt Absorb and Static. It has a height of 2.3 meters (7 feet 07 inches) and a weight of 150 kilograms (330 pounds). It is known as the Fossil Pokémon and has a catch rate of 45 (5.9% with PokéBall, full HP) and a base Friendship of 50 (normal). Base Exp. is 177, and the growth rate is Slow. Breeding occurs at Egg Groups Undiscovered with a genderless egg cycle lasting 35 cycles (8,739–8,995 steps). 

Dracozolt

Dracozolt is an Electric/Dragon type Pokémon, known as the Fossil Pokémon. It was introduced in Generation 8 with the Hustle ability. It has a high catch rate and yields high EVs when captured with a PokéBall. It has a normal friendship base, but grows slowly. The egg group of this pokemon is Undiscovered. This pokemon is genderless. The egg cycles of the pokemon are 35 (8,739–8,995 steps).  

Regieleki

Regieleki is the third Electric-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation 8. It’s known as the Electron Pokémon because its characteristics are similar to the transistor. Regieleki‘s height is 1.2 meters, it weighs about 145 kilograms, and it has a base friendship of 35. It has a slow growth rate, but it’s still worth catching. The egg cycles of these pokemon are 120 (30,584–30,840 steps).
