This guide will tell you about thirteen build mode shortcuts to make building easy in The Sims 4

The first one is the simple hotkey in which you have to turn off the grid, so you have to press G, which will toggle off, and then again press G to toggle it back on. After that, you have to resize the objects and do so; you need to press the open bracket key, which will help you make your object smaller or larger. It will also be very useful with sculptures, and you can use it on any item, as shown in the image below.  

So now you need to click on an item, then you have to choose the sculpture, after that you need to place it on the ground, and use the open bracket to make it small or bigger. To move the objects up and down, you need to press ctrl Shift with C, and there you have to type bb. move objects which will activate the tree, as shown in the image below. 

After that, grab your gnome, and you will see that the objects start moving toward plants. So now you have to grab him properly and then press ctrl plus nine to raise the object, and then you have to place it wherever you want. If you want to move your object downwards, then you have to press ctrl plus zero to move it down, as shown in the image below. 

When you have different surfaces, you need to press the M key to find them. You will see that your item will circle through all the options, and then you have to choose according to your own need, as shown in the image below.
