Where is the save game folder in Dark Souls II?
There are two locations of the Dark Souls II save file. If you didn’t find it in the first location, you can folllow the next one.
- You can find the save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and navigate to Roaming. After that, double-click on “DarkSoulsII” and you will find your User ID Number.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsII\User ID Number
- You have to go to Roaming inside your user directory and tap on DarkSouls2. You will find your User ID Number there.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\DarkSouls2\User ID Number
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
