Where is the save game folder in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin?
There are two locations of the Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin save file. If you didn’t find it in the first location, you can always try the next one.
- You can find the save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and go to Roaming. After that, tap on DarkSoulsII and you will find your User ID Number.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsII\User ID Number
- You will need to go to Roaming and then navigate to “DarkSouls2”. You will find your User ID Number there.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\DarkSouls2\User ID Number
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
