Where is the save game folder in Darksiders II?
There are two locations of the Darksiders II save file. If you didn’t find it in the first location, you can always follow the next one.
- You can find the save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and go to Documents. You will find the “My Games” folder inside it, open it up and navigate to Darksiders2 -> English.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\Documents\My Games\Darksiders2\English
- You have to go to Documents inside your user directory and tap on SKIDROW -> 50650 -> Storage.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\SKIDROW\50650\Storage
- To find the save file, you will need to go to Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and open up the Steam. Then you have to navigate to “userdata” and you will find your Steam User ID Number.
Example – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Steam User ID Number\50650\remote
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
