The sequel to the original tower defense game, Defense Grid 2 is set in a world filled with bold new visuals and new game modes to test your placement strategy skills. Defense Grid 2 throws players into a wide range of exotic and unique worlds. Where is the save game folder in Defense Grid 2?
There are two locations of the Defense Grid 2 save file. The first location is for Steam users and the second one is a Non-Steam location.
- To find the save file, you will need to open Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and open up the Steam folder. Then you have to go to “userdata” and you will find your STEAM USER ID NUMBER.
Steam – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\STEAM USER ID NUMBER\221540\remote\profile
- You have to open Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and navigate to Defense Grid 2 – Special Edition. Then you have to tap on Profile -> ALI213.
Non Steam – C:\Program Files (x86)\Defense Grid 2 – Special Edition\Profile\ALI213
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
