Fallout 76: How to Save Game

Fallout 76 is an online action role-playing game, it is the ninth installment in the Fallout series. The game serves as a narrative prequel to previous Fallout games. The storyline is set in alternate history taking place in the year 2102, twenty-five years after the great nuclear war. To escape the effects of the war, a shelter was built in West Virginia to protect the brightest minds America had to offer. Now as Reclamation Day approaches, the player exits the fallout bunker to save the world from another catastrophe.

Fallout 76 includes both an auto-save system, which automatically saves the game, and a manual save option that lets players save their game at any time. This dual save system provides flexibility for players to preserve their progress according to their preferences.

Fallout 76 auto-save feature automatically records your progress and uploads it to the game’s servers. When you quit the game, your progress will immediately be saved. 

How to save the game manually?

Follow the steps below to record your progress manually:

  • You need to access the map by pressing the Menu button on Xbox One or the Options button on PS4. 
  • After that, press L1 or LB to access the game menu. 
  • Tap on the Quit Game option to exit the game and record your progress.
