GTFO Co-Op: How to Play Multiplayer

10 Chambers created GTFO, an action game. To live in the game, players must rely on one another, frequently talking to dodge the perils that lurk around every corner. This game is not for the faint of heart due to its tremendous difficulty level, and a single mistake could result in death. Through its “Rundown” feature, the game also allows you to understand more about its universe. Players, like in the cult classic Rundown 2, are allowed to explore and learn more about the world beyond the game’s underground prison.

Are you wandering around to host or join an online session of GTFO? If yes, then you have come to the right place. 

Host Online

Follow the steps below if you are looking to host an online session of GTFO:

  1. Press “INJECT” to launch the game.
  2. Press “CONNECT TO RUNDOWN” to enter the main menu.
  3. Select “Expedition” to choose the level you want to play.
  4. Select “HOST LOBBY” to create a game session.
  5. Choose between “INVITE” to invite friends, “invite via friends Steam Invite,” or “MATCHMAKE” to find random players.
  6. Once your friends have joined the game, press “READY FOR CAGE DROP” to indicate you’re ready to start playing.

Join Online

If you want to join an online session of GTFO, follow the steps below. There are three methods to do so, and you can follow any of them. 

Method 1:

  1. Launch the game by pressing “INJECT” and press “CONNECT TO RUNDOWN” to enter the main menu.
  2. Select “MATCHMAKE” and change MATCHMAKE settings according to your preferences.
  3. After that, press “READY FOR CAGE DROP” to show you’re ready.

Method 2:

  1. Launch the game by pressing “INJECT” and press “CONNECT TO RUNDOWN” to go to the main menu.
  2. Click on “Expedition” to choose the level and select “MATCHMAKE” to find available games.
  3. After that, press “READY FOR CAGE DROP” to show you’re ready.

Method 3:

  1. Launch the game by pressing “INJECT” and press “CONNECT TO RUNDOWN” to enter the main menu.
  2. Click on “Expedition” to choose the level.
  3. If your friend has invited you to play, you can join a game via Steam Invite. 
  4. After that, press “READY FOR CAGE DROP” to show you’re ready.
