There are six ranks, and each rank has 6 Tiers, and there are six rank modes in Halo Infinite which will be your open Queue like 4v4. You can also have solo or dual queues, as shown in the image below.
You can select the input if you are a controller player, and if you are a basic player, you have to select the mouse option.
The progress to level up your rank is not very specific. You can rank up by winning the matches, and you can also check the information about ranking up by going to the ranked arena option, as shown in the image below.
