Herbalist Challenge #10 Guide - Red Dead Redemption 2

In this guide, you will find how to complete the herbalist challenge #10 in Red Dead Redemption 2. You first have to get the meat from Markhor Island, chicken from Coppenhead Landing, and rabbit near Caliban’s Seat. Meat from Markhor Island

First, ensure that you have completed the Epilogue 1 mission named ”The Wheel‘. After that, start this challenge.
Its reward is a coveted herbalist bandolier available from any trapper.
Ensure that you have a minimum of 11 plants of creeping time wild or oregano.
If you don’t have enough herbs, you need to move among the painted sky and lymphony to get them for the challenge.
Now you have to head to the location named Markhor Island from the map.

After that, visit the butcher’s stall for all your meat needs.

Upon reaching the butcher’s shop you have to buy meat such as mature venison meat, tender pork lion, and prime beef joint from the listings.
You need to use the left-side arrow to buy the meat. After purchasing, press the escape button to go back to the menu.

Chicken from Coppenhead Landing

Now go to the subsequent location near the Coppenhead Landing from the map to get other kinds of meat.

To get the meat of a specific animal or bird, you have to mark it through the binocular.
Hit it with a bullet and toggle the scope using your mouse.

Once the predator is down, head towards it.
Now use the E key to pluck and the R key to pick up and remove the skin for later use.

Rabbit near the Caliban’s Seat

Move towards the bird-like location given on the map near the Caliban Seat.

Upon reaching the location, aim at the chicken or turkey using your mouse and shoot it to hunt.
Once it is down, grab it using the R key, and press the E button to remove the skin.
You need to press the R key to drop the predator back to the ground.

Alligator from Riverside

To hunt an alligator, go to the marked location on the map.
These reptiles are dangerous species, so you have to be careful.

Once you are at the location, press the E button to track the alligator.
Get your gun from the inventory, toggle at the alligator using your mouse, and shoot it.
After that, head towards it, and press the E button to remove the skin.

You need to press the R key to stow the skin on the horse’s back.

Elusive steelhead from Kamassa River

Head towards Kamassa River for hunting the fish named elusive steelhead where worms will be used as bait.

Upon reaching the riverside, grab the fishing rod and worms from your inventory and cast the fishing rod’s string into the river using the E button.
Press the tab button to bait and to equip the worm bait, you need to hit the E button. You have to wait for a few times to grab the fish.
Now to cast the reel in, you need to press the space button.

Use your mouse to control the movement of the fishing rod in the water.
You have to continuously press the E button to reel in and get the fish to your hand. Hit the E button another time to put the steelhead trout inside your bag.

Now press the left side arrow to break down the fish into the meat.

You have to hunt the rabbit and toggle the scope using the mouse once you see it moving around.
After that, shoot it down with a bullet.

Once it is down, grab it using the R key, and press the E button to remove the skin.

Largemouth bass from Lana Hachi River

Now move to the Lana Hachi River which is shown on the map.

Upon reaching the riverside, press the R button to get the weapon items.
Hit the E button to grab a hunting fish rod and a big fishing lure to hunt a largemouth bass.

Now cast the fishing rod’s string and reel lure into the river using the space button. You have to wait for a few times to grab the fish.
To reset the cast, you need to press the E button.
Hold the right-side mouse button and space key to attract the fish when reeling slowly. Press R or F keys to increase or decrease the reeling speed respectively.

Use your mouse to control the movement of the fishing rod in the water. You have to continuously press the space button to reel in and get the fish to your hand.
Push up the mouse to drag the fish towards you, and then quickly reel in line to make faster progress.
Hold space and press the left arrow to prevent the fish from pulling out the line.

After that, press the left side arrow to break down the fish into meat.

Crabs from the south area near Clement’s Island

Now head to the South area near Clement’s Island which is shown on the map to hunt and get crabs.

Upon reaching the island, track towards the crab using the E button. Control the movement and aim at the target using the mouse.
Once the target is in the aim, hit it with an arrow.

You need to grab the crab from the ground to your hand using the R key.

Goats from Larned Sod Island

Now head to the Larned Sod Island which is shown on the map to hunt and grab the goats.

Upon reaching the location, toggle at the running goat using your mouse and shoot it.

Pick the goat from the ground to your hand using the R key and press the E button to remove the skin.

Again press the R key to drop the goat’s skin on the back of the horse.

Cooking Thyme Exotic Bird

Once all the meat is grabbed, you need to set up a camp. Use the R key to cook or craft some recipes.
After that, press the F key to see all the items available and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
Use the left-side arrow to cook the Thyme Exotic Bird meat.

Now you have to press the space button to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Oregano Flake Fish

After that, press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, you have to press the left side arrow to cook the oregano flake fish.

Press the space button to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Thyme Big Game

Press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, press the left side arrow to cook the Thyme big game.

Again press the space button to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Minty Pork

Press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, press the left side arrow to cook the Minty Pork.

You have to press the space button another time to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Oregano Plump Bird

Press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, to cook the Oregano Plump Bird, you have to press the left side arrow.

Press the space button to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Thyme Prime Beef

Press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, to cook the Thyme Prime Beef, you have to press the left side arrow.

Press the space button another time to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Minty Crustacean

Press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, to cook the Minty Crustacean, you have to press the left side arrow.

Again, press the space button to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Oregano Succulent Fish

You will need to press the F button to go back to the crafting section and use the right or left arrow keys to see all the recipes.
However, to cook the Oregano Succulent Fish, press the left side arrow.

Press the space button another time to cook the meat and use the R key to put it into your bag.

Cooking Thyme Mutton
