1- You have to go to the Xbox home screen and then press the Xbox button on your controller. A menu will appear on the left side of your screen, you have to select the gamerpic from the top left of your menu and the sign-in menu will appear.
2- Now you have to click on your profile and a new window will open up. On this window, you need to click on Appear Offline. After this under your username appearing offline message will come which indicates that you are now appearing Offline to other users.
