First, you have to boot up your game, go to the Customize tab and then select Change Appearance. After that, go to the info tab and you will find the number option under this. You can set the number according to your choice.
In case you have started the league and now want to change your number, then you have to go to select Continue the league in the league tab. Once this loads up, you need to go to upgrade player and select Change Gear. On this page, go to the player information tab you can set the number according to your choice in the jersey option.
