To craft and improve an arrow, you need to read the improved arrow pamphlet, and you can purchase these pamphlets at any fence. Once you purchase it, you need to go into your satchel and read the improved arrow pamphlet to craft and improve the arrow.
You can craft the arrow or purchase it from a gunsmith shop or general store. The next item you need is a flight feather, and to get a flight feather, you need to shoot anything that flies, and however you shoot, it depends on you. The kill quality does not matter because you need to skin the thing and obtain the flight feather.
Now you need to craft and improve the arrow. You need to hold down the L1 button from the controller and then press the 1 button until you find the things that say “items” on the very bottom. You will also notice a bowl and a campfire; you can select either one for them.
You cannot fire by releasing the L1 button from the controller, and you will also need to set up a campfire to craft a small game arrow. After that, select the square button to craft cook, and then you have to push 1 until you get to the spot. You need to go down to the bottom where it says the arrow improved, so you need to choose X to craft it.
When you press X, you are going to craft an arrow, and you need to keep pressing X to craft the arrow because it goes fast until you run out of arrows to craft, so as long as you have flight feathers and arrows, you can craft these things. To equip the arrow, you need to hold down the L1 button and then scroll over one of the weapon’s things until you have your bow.
Then you have to push down the right control pad one over until you have selected the spot that says improve arrow. Once you do that, you need to release one button from the controller, and then you will get the improved arrow.
