The auto pick-up function in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive may sound like a great feature. But it can make you lose the round if you pick up the weapon at the wrong time.
To turn this off, you will need to go to the game setting by pressing the escape key on your keyboard. Then open the game settings by clicking on the gear icon on the left side of your screen. A new window will appear, and you have to click on the game tab. Then navigate to Item and turn off the “Switch Weapon on the Pick Up” option.
After doing this, you don’t need to worry about picking up a weapon at the wrong time.
