In this guide, you will learn how to find and use copper in Minecraft.
The copper comes as a part of the 1.17 update, and you can find it in the form of copper ore. The ores will drop an item called “raw copper”.
You can smelt the raw copper into copper ingots using a furnace or blast furnace.
Then you can use nine to make a block of copper.
You can also use four blocks of copper to craft four blocks of “cut copper”.
Like in real life, copper will oxidize when left exposed, and it will happen slowly over time.
There are four stages of oxidation, and it applies to all the copper blocks, and you can freeze a copper block in any stage of oxidation.
You can add a honeycomb to all four stages of oxidized copper to create a “waxed” version.
The waxed version will permanently stay in whatever oxidation stage it is in.
Currently, you can make slabs and stairs with all variants of cut copper but not normal copper.
