Phosphorus can be mostly found on fiery planets which you can tell if a planet scanning the planet before you get to it. Now if there aren’t any planets in your system that have phosphorus on them, then you have to use your hyperdrive to warp to different systems until you find one with a fiery planet in it.
When you find Phosphorus on a planet, you can either find it using your analysis visor or mine it using the terrain manipulator. You can find a phosphorus hotspot using the survey device and setting up a phosphorus farm using mineral extractors.
