In this guide, you will learn to find the Dunes in Subnautica. You have to follow the simple steps to find it.
Starting from the coral tube sticking up out of the water, you will need to head west or one bump to the right or the left of the west until you reach the dunes biome.
When going to the dunes biome, it is recommended to have a sea moth with an Mk1-Mk2 depth module, perimeter defense and sonar, a sea glide, and a high capacity 02 Tank.
The two main threats you will encounter in the dunes is the warper which can warp you out of your vehicle unless you are in the cyclops. You can either deal enough damage against it until it warps away; you have to use the perimeter defense against it or run away from it. You will need to avoid the reaper leviathan and use perimeter defense if it grabs you.
The coordinates for the location are (-1478.5, -305.6, 34.1).
If you’ve gone pretty far and you aren’t sure if you’re in the dunes biome or not, you’ll know you’re starting to enter the dunes because the area will be large and open. You will find thermal vents scattered throughout the large area, and if you still aren’t sure, then one major thing that you’ll notice as you start to enter the dunes is that you will likely see or hear reapers in the distance.
