Roblox Error code 285 occurs because of a problem with the software that was installed or uninstalled.
You have to follow all the instructions carefully to fix this error.
1. You will need to open up the control panel.
2. Click on the Network and Internet option.
3. And then navigate to Network and Sharing center.
4. After that, click on Change adapter settings.
5. Now you need to right-click on ethernet and select properties.
6. After that, click on Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IP) and go to properties.
7. Enable “Use the following DNS server addresses”, input 1.1.1.1 in the Preferred DNS server and 1.0.0.1 to the alternate DNS server, and click OK.
8. After that, use Windows + R command and enter %temp% into the input field.
9. You have to select all folder files and delete them.
10. After that, open the command prompt and run it as administrator.
11. Input the ipconfig/renew command in command prompt.
12. And then input “ipconfig/reset“.
13. Input the “ipconfig/all” command.
14. After that, use “ipconfig/allcorpartments/all” command and then finally use exit command to terminate the command prompt.
15. Finally you need to restart your PC to check if the error is resolved.
