This guide will let you know how to fix the Disconnecting issues in Forza Horizon 5. You have to follow all the steps carefully in this guide to fix it.
The first thing you will need to do is change your DNS server, so you have to open the start menu and go to settings, where you have to open network and internet settings. Scroll down and click on the change adapter settings option to open a new control panel window, as shown in the image below.
After that, right-click on the ethernet and select properties. You have to double-click on the ipv4 option to open the DNS server settings. You need to check on “Use the following DNS server addresses.” Now enter the preferred DNS server 1.1.1.1, and in the alternative DNS server, you need to enter 8.8.8.8.
After entering the DNS server settings, you need to click on the OK button to fix your issue.
Now go to the start menu, open the command prompt, and run it as administrator. In the command prompt, you need to enter “ipconfig /flushdns” and press enter. You have to press the up button to go to the previous command and press Ctrl with backspace to erase the last command, enter “ipconfig /registerdns,” and press enter.
Now again, you have to press the up button and press Ctrl with backspace and enter “release,” and press enter. Then again, press the up button and enter “ipconfig /renew,” as shown in the image below.
After that, type netsh winsock reset and press enter key, and you will see that your system will restart, and there will be no issue anymore.
