If you have visited the locker room and have seen a mirror with an option to change your uniform by pressing “f”. Now you are wondering how to get HRT uniforms on that list. There are two methods to get the HRT uniform.
Method #1:
First, you have to go to the Steam store and find the support edition of DLC. You will find that it is a bit expensive but you get more than the uniform, the weapons mk1 cabin, the rescue shield, and plus multiple explosives coming in the future.
You also get the first expansion pack and the soundtrack once they release and access to the experimental that supports the branch. You will help the developer to test the updates before the main release.
Once purchased, then you need to relaunch the game and you will have the HRT uniform. There will be two different HRt uniforms and you can choose according to your choice.
Method#2:
This method is free. You will need to download some mods, the best one is available on nexusmods.com. Go to this website, type “HRT reskin for swat” in the search bar on the top of the screen, and press enter.
You will get the HRT you want, the FBI HRT Reskin for SWAT.
For this to work, you need to download two other mods and you also have to create a free account.
After downloading, you have to open your download folder in the separate file window and go to the drive where your game is located. Then navigate to the program file and go to Steam library, then click on steam apps.
After entering steam apps, you need to go to common and scroll down to find Ready Or Not. Open the folder, navigate to the contents folder -> pak.
Open the zip folder and drag the pak file. In the HRT folder, there are two pak files, one of them is for multi-cam uniforms and the other one is for the navy. First, you have to go to multi-cam and install it, then launch the game and the uniform will be replaced with the HRT. As you can see in the loadouts, all your teammates have the same uniform as you.
The supporter heavy armor is in a much deeper version than the moded heavy armor.
With the mod, you will also get some tan and cool navy uniforms
Pros and Cons of Moded Version:
Pros :
They support the development of the game, you will also get access to the other perks mentioned earlier. As it doesn’t require any modding of the game. Moded uniforms are very detailed as it looks great. All your ai team and your friends will wear the same uniform as you, even if they don’t have the mod.
Cons :
Support edition is expensive and you are not able to put AI into HRT uniforms.
