This guide will let you know how to get, summon, and use Wolves in the Elden Ring. You have to follow the step-by-step instructions to do so.
You will need to walk out from the tutorial doors and head towards the Church of Ella. Then you have to head toward the northeast side and follow the path which will lead you to the forest, as shown in the image below.
The path in the forest will lead you to the gate front location. From there, you need to go left, and you will find the site of grace; you need to interact with it, which will discover the site of grace. After that, interact with it again, then start resting at the site of grace which will trigger a cutscene. You will talk to Melana, ad she will ask for your help, so you have to accept it, as shown in the image below.
Now you need to go back to the church of Ella and rest at the site of grace. You have to change the daytime to the night and do so; you need to go to the pass time option from the left menu and then select the nightfall option.
At night, you will find a merchant on your left side who is sleeping, so you have to go on the right side, and you will find a witch called Rena sitting on the broken wall. You have to interact with her; she will give you a Spirit Calling Bell and Lone Wolf Ashes.
Now you need to open your main menu, and you will find a pouch section on the top right corner of the screen. There will be six slots where you can add items in the pouch. The top four slots are quick-access slots, and there you need to add the item called lone wolf ashes in the empty slot, and then when you are moving around the world, you will be able to summon wolves to help you, as shown in the image below.
If you want to switch the item, you have to press the F key from the PC. When you press F, it will open the pouch menu, and from there, you need to select the item you want to add in the slot and then left-click from the mouse to equip it, as shown in the image below.
To summon the wolves, you need to go in a wide area because you cannot summon wolves in every area on the map, so to summon the wolves, you need to press and hold E from pc. It will open the quick access menu on the left bottom of the screen, so to select the item from the pouch, you need to use the arrow keys from the keyboard, and it will summon the wolves, as shown in the image below.
