How to Get the Data Cell in Deep Rock Galactic

In this guide, you will come to know how to get the Data Cell in Deep Rock Galactic. Go through the guide and follow all the instructions to get it.

The prospector spawns when the map shows up, so if you don’t see it, then it means it doesn’t spawn at that time. To set the rival prospector off, you will need to attack him; you have to go close to it and fight with him.

There will be three phases in the fight, each time its health bar decreases by thirty percent, it will become invisible for a few seconds, and the robots will start spawning near you, as shown in the image below.

The prospector will never run from you while you are attacking; it will follow the same path back and forth across a cave. So if he runs away from you, then you don’t have to run to him; you have to wait until he comes back.

This event will be hard if you start it simultaneously as other map events, such as fighting a swarm or pulling the eggs out. The number of robots spawned by the prospector depends on hazard level and player count. When you kill the prospector, you will get gold, Nitra and crafting materials, and a data cell, as shown in the image below.

Once the dust is settled and the data cell cools down and rest on the floor, then you can pick it up and deposit it into the mule, as shown in the image below.

The data deposit is where the prospector reports the information they collect while moving around. When you encounter the data deposit, you will get closer to it, and you have to hold the interact to call the hacking pod the same as the industrial sabotage mission.

This event is a hacking sequence from industrial sabotage, so at first, when the hacking pod lands, it will dispense beacons for you. So you have to grab and throw the beacons out, then use these beacons to make a daisy chain and connect the data deposit to the hacking pod.

To do so, you have to grab the data deposit, throw them and then run to them where they are located. Next, you will need to string them out, as shown in the image below.

If there is any terrain between the beacons, they will not connect, so you have to break it. When they stick to the surface, it will be easier for you to get them on the cliff. If you are an engineer, you can also make a platform path and then stick them on its edges.

Once you connect the pod through beacons, you will need to return to the pod, push the button, and start hacking. When you start hacking, you will see that glyphods and robots will attack the hacking pod to make it offline, so you have to kill them. The hacking pod can take fire damage, so you have to make sure not to use C4 or another explosive material.

If the beacon becomes dislodged, the event will stop until you re-establish the connection. When the connection is broken, the pod will start dispensing beacons again. Also, it will allow you to reconnect it again, as shown in the image below.
