Starting from the coral tube sticking up out of the water, you have to head about 1-3 bumps to the right of the northeast, and you will eventually reach the bulb zone.
When going to or exploring the bulb zone, it is recommended to have a sea moth with an Mk1 or Mk2 depth module and perimeter defence, a high capacity 02 tank, a sea glide, and a beacon to mark the biome to make it easier to come back to later.
The main threat you’ll encounter in the bulb zone is the ampeel; you have to avoid them and use the stasis rifle on it. And the bone shark, you can either kill them using your knife or use the perimeter defence against it to get it away from you.
