The Dismemberment/Gore Mod helps you to fix the problems of explosives and high calliper weapons, if there is any.
This guide will let you know how to install the Dismemberment/Gore Mod in GTA 5.
- Before the installation of this mod, you will need to install the following applications.
- OpenIV
- NativeUI
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet
- After fulfilling the requirements, open the link below and download Dismemberment/Gore 2.2.1.

- Here is the downloaded mod folder.
- Now, open the Grand Theft Auto V installed directory and open the scripts folder.
- And then open up the downloaded folder.
- Copy the below files except DismembermentASI and dlc from it.
- Paste the copied files into Grand Theft Auto V’s scripts folder.
- After that, you will need to copy the DismembermentASI file from the downloaded mod file.
- Paste the copied ASI file in the Grand Theft Auto directory.
- After creating a new folder in the downloaded mod file and name it with Dismemberment.
- Copy/Move the dlc file and paste/move to the newly created Dismemberment folder.
- Now, it’s required to copy the dlc file to the mods folder. So, head over to the OpenIV program, open the update folder and then open x64.
- Open the dlcpacks folder.
- Look for the patchday2bng folder and open it.
- Click on the dlc.rpf archive.
- After that, click on Show in the (“mods” folder) and if it’s not there make sure to click on Edit mode on the upper right side. As it appears, click on the (Show in “mods” folder).
- After that, open the dlcpacks folder in mods folder by following the directory as shown in the image below.
- Copy the newly created Dismemberment folder or drag and drop it in the dlcpacks folder in OpenIV.
- After that, you will need to open the update folder under GTA V and then click on update.rpf file.
- Click on (Show in “mods” folder).
- After that, open the common folder.
- Then open up the data folder.
- Look for the dlclist.xml file, right click on it and then navigate to Edit.
- Copy the highlighted text from the bottom.
- Paste the text just underneath the copied text and name it Dismemberment as shown in the image below.
- After that, you have to save the file.
- Launch the game, as you can check that the mod has been applied.
