This guide will let you know how to install or fix Mods BeamNG.Drive.
Mod Installation
The first thing you will need to do is right-click the game launcher and open the file location.
After that, create a new folder named “mods”.
You have to drag and drop your mod folder, and that’s it.
Mod Not Showing Up
But if you have issues, then here is how to fix some of them.
If the mod doesn’t show up, you will need to press CTRL+L from your keyboard.
If that doesn’t work, you have to download and install WinRAR.
Go to the mode that doesn’t show up. It should look like this.
After that, click the folder and open the file location.
You need to drag and drop it, and that should do it.
Mod Spawning With No Tires
You will need to go to the Vehicle Config, as shown in the image below.
Then follow this directory.
body>suspension>wheel hubs>wheels
Or you can search for wheels.
The next thing you will need to do is open, save and load.
Select the config you have and click overwrite to save.
Mod With Bad/Missing Textures
Look here; the textures are messed up.
You have to open the file location and move the mods folder to the desktop.
After that, clear the game cache.
Open file location again and create a mods folder.
You have to add the mods back one by one.
Now you have to test the mod in the game; this mod is fine.
Add another mod and press CTRL+L. This mod is fine too.
You can repeat for the other mods and check all.
It even makes problems for other mods, so you need to delete the mod that causes the issues. Move the mod folder to the desktop and clear the cache. Add the mode folder back into the game folder, and that’s it.
Deleted Mod Still Showing Up
Here you can see the deleted slots.
You will need to go to the documents.
You have to create a new folder and give it a name. Now Follow this directory
Manage user folder> choose a new location> select the folder you just created.
documents> open the folder you just created > 0.24 > vehicles.
Delete the folders you no longer want.
