This guide will let you know how to install Liberty City Rewind in Grand Theft Auto 5.
- Before the installation of Liberty City Rewind, it’s needed to install the following programs first.
- GameConfig
- Pack file Limit Adjuster
- Heap Limit Adjuster
- After that, open the link below and download the Liberty_Rewind_DLC.

- Open up the following link and download Liberty City V (Rewind) 4K Full Minimap.

- Here are all the downloaded files.
- Open the Grand Theft Auto V directory and then copy the update folder.
- Paste the copied folder in the mods folder.
- Open the copied update folder.
- Then open the x64 folder.
- Open the dlcpacks folder.
- Open the Liberty_Rewind_DLC downloaded folder.
- Then you have to open the update folder.
- Open up the x64 folder.
- Then open up the dlcpacks folder.
- Copy all the folders.
- Paste the copied folders in the dlcpacks folder (Grand Theft Auto V).
- After that, open the 433708-LC MINIMAP Update 4.1 downloaded folder.
- And open LC MINIMAP Update 4.1 folder.
- After that, you will have to open up the “Original Version by Carl Johnson” folder.
- Open the folder.
- And then open up the mods folder.
- Open OpenIV, follow the path and then click on (Show in “mods” folder).
- Follow the path.
- Follow the path of the 433708-LC MINIMAP Update 4.1 downloaded folder, copy the folder and then paste it in the tune folder (OpenIV).
- After that, follow the path on OpenIV and then click on (Copy to “mods” folder).
- Navigate to file by following the path of the downloaded folder and copy all the files from the folder.
- Paste or drag and drop the all files in the following path on OpenIV.
- After that, you have to open the Liberty_Rewind_DLC folder.
- Open OpenIV, follow the path and then click on (Show in “mods” folder).
- Open the common.rpf folder from the download Liberty named folder.
- Then open up the data folder.
- Navigate to the gta5 file and copy it.
- Paste or drag and drop the copied file on the following path(OpenIV).
- After that, open the update folder from the Liberty named folder.
- Navigate to the file by following the path.
- Navigate to OpenIV and follow the path.
- Look for the dlclist.xml file on the OpenIV, right click on it and then navigate to Edit.
- Open the dlclist file of the pre opened folder in the notepad.
- Now you will need to copy these files in the next steps.
- Open both dlclist files side by side, copy the text at left side line by line and paste it on the right side at the exact location.
- After that, scroll to the marked text at the left side, copy the text line by line and paste it on the right side at the exact location.
- Make sure to change the backward slash to the forward slash if it’s by any reason and then save the file.
- After that, open up the “x64a.rpf” folder from the downloaded folder.
- Launch OpenIV, follow the path and then click on (Show in ‘mods” folder).
- Follow the path of the downloaded folder and copy the file.
- Follow the path on OpenIV and paste or drag and drop the copied file in the data folder.
- After that, you will need to open the update folder from the downloaded folder.
- Launch OpenIV, follow the path and then click on (Show in ‘mods” folder).
- Follow the path of the downloaded folder and copy all the files from it.
- Paste or drag and drop the copied file at the exact location in OpenIV.
- Launch the game, explore and enjoy.
