This guide will let you know how to install [ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (LAPD) 21M06 in Grand Theft Auto V. To install the [ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (LAPD) in Grand Theft Auto V, you will need Open IV.
1 The first thing you will need to download the [ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (LAPD) from “https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/vehiclemodels/31838-els-los-santos-pd-mega-pack-lapd/”.
2 Then extract the downloaded zip file or just open it to see the files & folders inside it.
3 After that, open the GTA V Directory (open file explorer, select the drive where your Steam games are located). If you don’t have a mods folder in the main directory, you need to create one. After that, copy the update folder and paste it into the mods folder.
4 Now open the “Open IV” application, press “Edit mode” and click yes when a pop-up window appears.
5 You need to open the installation text file from the downloaded file to read the instructions to install this Mod.
6 Within “Open IV”, you have to go to mods→update→x64→dlcpacks→patchday23ng→dlc.rpf > x64>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf and drag the files from the Vehicles folder to the downloaded folder.
7 After that, head on to the next step where you need to open Open IV again and go to mods→update→x64→dlcpacks. Drag the lapdaddon folder from the downloaded file into this directory.
8 Now navigate to mods→update→update.rpf→common>data>dlclist.xml and open this file.
9 At the bottom of the file, you need to create a new code line <Item>dlcpacks:/lapdaddon/</Item> just above the closing of paths tag. Then click on the save button at the bottom right side.
10 After that, open the GTA V Directory (open file explorer, select the drive where your steam games are located) then go to ELS > pack_default and on the other side, open the downloaded file and go to ELS folder there. Drag all the files from it into the GTA V opened directory.
11 Now navigate back to the Open IV and go to mods→update→update.rpf→common>data> levels> gta5 and on the other side, you have to find the “Vehicles Data Files” in downloaded file. Open it up and drag Vehicles.meta file into the opened directory of the Open IV.
12 Within Open IV, you have to go to mods→update→update.rpf→ x64 > data. Then open the downloaded file, find the “Vehicles Data Files” folder and open it to drag “carvariations.ymt” file into the opened directory of Open IV.
13 The Pack has been installed successfully. Now you have to install three more files which are Gameconfig, Packfile Limit Adjuster, and Heap Limit Adjuster.
14 You can download these files from “https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars“, “https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/packfile-limit-adjuster” and “https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap” respectively.
15 After that, extract the downloaded zip files or just open it to see the files & folders inside it.
16 Now you need to open the GTA V Directory (Open file explorer, select the drive where your steam games are located) then go to the downloaded Heap Adjuster file and drag the HeapAdjuster.asi file into GTA V main directory.
17 Open the PackfileLimitAdjuster file and drag the ASI and configuration settings files into GTA V main directory.
18 Now head to the last one for which, you need to open the Open IV app. But before that, open the game config downloaded file and open the Older Versions folder to configure out your version of GTA.
19 As here, in this case, it is the latest version, so you need to open the top folder.
20 After that, find the “stocktraffic” folder and open it.
21 Now open the Open IV application and press “Edit mode”. You’ll need to go to mods→update→update.rpf>common> data in Open IV. Open the “stocktraffic” folder on the other side, and drag the “gameconfig.xml” file into the opened directory of Open IV.
22 Now you can go to the game and spawn a couple of cars. First, you need to install the trainer from “https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav“.
23 Extract the downloaded file, open the GTA V directory, and drag the top two files from the downloaded trainer file into the GTAV main directory.
24 Now everything has been installed. You can open up the game to spawn the cars.
