This guide will let you know how to install mods on ARK PC.
- First, you will need to open the steam application, then click on the Library tab and select the game from the list on the left side of the screen. After that, click on the Workshop tab.
2. Now pick a mod of your choice from the Most Subscribed tab, as they are the most trusted mods. After that, click on the mod and go to the details page. Let’s pick the “Dino Tracker” mod for the moment. Press the Subscribe button on the mod details page.
3. Now you need to go back to your steam library to start the game. When you arrive at the menu, click on the Host\Local.
4. And you will go to the next window where you can see the active Mods and Available Mods sections. Available mods are installed but not applied or activated Mods.
5. If you want to activate the newly installed mod, go and click on the mod then press the double arrow button in front of the Available Mods Heading and it will be added to the Active Mods section. If you want to remove it, you can now click on the double arrow button in front of the active mods heading.
6. Now you can play the game to see if the mod works. Click on the Play Single Player Tab to run the game.
