The Baldur’s Gate 3 mod “Monk – Way of the Ascendant Dragon Subclass Standalone” introduces the Ascendant Dragon monk subclass. Elemental Breath is one of its special powers, which expands the possibilities for monk characters in role-playing games.
To install the Monk – Way of the Ascendant Dragon Subclass Standalone mod in Baldur’s Gate 3, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Before installing this mod, make sure to download BG3 Mod Fixer, ImprovedUI (for subclass icon) Compatibility Framework, and BG3SE.
Step 2: Download the Monk – Way of the Ascendant Dragon Subclass Standalone mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
Step 3: After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to paste the .pak file into the mods folder which can be found in the Baldur’s Gate game directory.

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate 3\
Step 4: Now open the Baldur’s Gate Mod Manager
Step 5: Now, you’ll have to drag the mod from the right panel to the left. After that, press Save Load Order to File” then press “Export Order to Game”.
That’s it! Your mod is now installed. You can try it out by launching the game.
