In this guide, you will learn how to install multiplayer mod for The Long Dark. You just have to follow a few steps and you can easily install it.
To do this, you will need to go to the following link and download MelonLoader.

Once it has completed downloading, open it and select the tld.exe file. You will be able to do this from the game directory. You have to go to the drive where you installed Steam. Then steam->steamapps->common->TheLongDark->tld.exe. After you are done, click on the Install option.
At that point, you will need to download the most latest version from GitHub and click on the link shown in the image below.Â
Then come up to the Release1.zip.
Once it has completed downloading, open it and extract all the files from the archive to the Mods folder which is in TheLongDark folder.
Now you are done from your side. Launch the game. When you start the game for the first time, it will require a couple of moments.
