NaturaLUTs are basically custom LUTs that ensure black levels always reach true black and maintain the original colour grading. It will remove the game’s washed out hazy green filtered look.
To install the NaturaLUTs – Color Filter mod in Starfield, follow these simple steps:
- First, download the NaturaLUTs – Color Filter mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
- After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to paste the contents of the zip file into the Starfield game directory.
Unlike other games where mod files have specific directories, for this mod to function correctly, they must be placed directly in the root directory of Starfield.
Starfield location:
Local Disk (C:) > Users > Documents > My Games > Starfield
Starfield location (Steam):
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield\
Note: You’ll have to overwrite the files in case of any duplicate files.
- Now take the loose DDS files and place them in the following directory:
”…\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\Textures\effects\luts”
Alternatively, you can also auto-install the mod by using Vortex mod manager.
That’s it! Your mod is now installed. You can try it out by launching the game.
