The Starfield mod “Player Placed Infinite Storage” makes player-placed storage in outposts and homes into limitless storage, turning it into a haven for stockpiling stuff without boundaries. This patch does not affect already-existing containers.
To install the Player Placed Infinite Storage mod in Starfield, follow these simple steps:
- First, download the Player Placed Infinite Storage mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
- After downloading the mod file, extract it, and paste the OutpostStorage.esp file into the Data folder of the Starfield game directory.
Starfield location:
Local Disk (C:) > Users > Documents > My Games > Starfield
Starfield location (Steam):
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield\
Note: You’ll have to overwrite the files in case of any duplicate files.
- Now, download the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file, which can be found in the ‘Misc’ folder.
- Move the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file to the ‘Starfield’ directory.
- If you already have the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file, simply add the following lines to it.
[General]
sTestFile1=OutpostStorage.esp
Note:
If you have multiple .esp mods and want to load this mod as, for example, the third mod, you can change the number accordingly, such as sTestFile3=OutpostStorage.esp. The number represents the load order of the mod, ranging 1 to 10.
Alternatively, you can also auto-install the mod by using Vortex mod manager.
That’s it! Your mod is now installed. You can try it out by launching the game.
