This guide will let you know how to install the Reshade for Sims 4. You have to follow the guide, and you will know how to install Reshade.
You can install ReShade and Vibrance Present Lightning for the Sims 4 very easily in no time. In the Vibrance Present Lightning, the colour quality is stunning; it adjusts the contrast and the shadows. Without it, the colours are very dull and dark, as you can see in the image below. You can have more fun playing the game with the Vibrance Present Lightning.

To download the Reshade, you will need to open the following link.

After getting into the website, you have to click on the Download option.
It will bring you to the end of the page, and you need to click on Download Reshade.
Once you have downloaded it, click on the downloaded file at the bottom of your browser. Furthermore, click on “Click here to select a game and manage its ReShade Installation”.
Now come to the quick search tab, and search for the Sims 4. After selecting the application, you will need to click on the Open file location.
If you already have a Sims 4 shortcut on the Desktop, you need to right-click on it, and then click on the Open file location.
If you are playing the game on the Legacy version, you need to copy the location of this folder, as you can see in the image below.
If you aren’t playing on the Legacy version, you have to go back to the Game folder, and open up the Bin folder. Now you need to copy the location of this folder, as you can see in the image below.
Afterwards, come back to the window where you have to browse the directory. Click on the Browse option and paste the directory location there. If you are playing on the Legacy version, there will be no x64 at the end of the file name. Select this file, and click on Open at the bottom.
Furthermore, you will need to select the Direct 3D 9 version, and click on the Yes option.
The next thing you have to do is select all the packages to install in the game. It is recommended not to select the Legacy standard effects. Furthermore, click on the Ok button.
Once you have completed the installation, you will come to the Edit ReShade settings. Now you need to select the preset.
To download the preset, open the link below, and click on the Download option.

After you have downloaded the preset file, you need to extract it, you can use WinRar and 7-zip. Then open up the folder and copy the preset file.
If you already have a Sims 4 shortcut on the Desktop, you need to right-click on it. Then click on the Open file location, and go back to the Game folder. There you will need to open the Bin folder, and paste the copied preset there.
Now you’ve to come back back to the Edit ReShade settings window, and click on the three dots that are right after the Preset. Paste the preset file location there, which you have copied earlier. Then select the preset and click on Open. Afterwards, you will need to click Ok.
Once you have done this, you have to run the game, it will take some time to bring you to the game screen. Once you come to the game screen, press the Shift and F2 buttons. There’s a preset tab at the top; if the preset you downloaded doesn’t select automatically, you will need to click on it and select the preset.
Furthermore, you can select the screenshot keys. You can take the screenshot in the game by pressing the C button on the keyboard. If you need to take a screenshot in the ReShade mod, you have to select the screenshot key. You can select the keys according to you.
You can also select the screenshot path and image format. There are two options to select the image format; you can either select the PNG or BMP format.
If you have very sharp colors in the game, then you can enable the AdaptiveSharpen. If the colors are dark in the game, then you can enable the Clarity. You can select the MatsoDOF to blur the background. You need to change the settings of the mod according to you. There are also advanced settings that you can adjust according to you, as shown in the image below.
After making changes, press the Shift and F2 buttons, and you will come back to the game screen.
