To install the Shield Mechanics Overhaul mod in Baldur’s Gate 3, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: First, download the Shield Mechanics Overhaul mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
Step 2: After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to paste the .pak file into the mods folder which can be found in the Baldur’s Gate game directory.

Step 3: Now open the Baldur’s Gate Mod Manager
Step 4: Now, you’ll have to drag the mod from the right panel to the left. After that, press Save Load Order to File” and then press “Export Order to Game”.
