This guide will let you know how to install the Ghost Replay in Grand Theft Auto 5.
1. You have to download the Ghost Replay mod from “https://www.gta5-mods.com/“. Open the link and click on the Download arrow icon under the All Versions section to get the mod.
2. The other things you will require are a “Scripthookv”, and “Microsoft visual redistributable (x64) “. You can download Scripthookv from “ScriptHookV“, and Microsoft Visual file from “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64)“. Once you have installed all your requirements, you have to go to the downloads folder to extract the GhostReplay downloaded file.
3. On the other hand, open the Grand Theft Auto V main directory side by side with the downloads folder. Now open the downloaded GhostReplay folder and drag the files except the Readme.txt file from it into the GTA V main directory.
4. After that, open the README.txt file to find which hotkeys, and gamepad buttons to use to make it work. You can also change these things in settings_menu.ini.
5. After that, open the game menu using ghost cheat. Press the tilde key (~) to open the cheat console and enter a command (GHOST).
6. Then spawn a vehicle and select the track and a ghost. You can also set up a track, give it a name, and set a start line and finish line.
7. To set a start line, you need to register your left start point at your current location and your right start point at your current location.
8. Then go to set up the finish line in the same way as well.
9. After that, click on save the track from the Track Setup.
10. Select the track that you just saved and start driving from the start line. You have to go through the track, then time will be saved and you will have a ghost race with you.
11. Go back to the start line and click on the ghost tab and make sure to select the ghost which you just recorded so that it spawns a copy of the replay vehicle.
12. Start the race from the start line and you need to beat your ghost car this time. Actually, you have to beat yourself. If your lap time is faster than the previous ghost, it’s automatically saved and loaded again. Get the perfect track time by repeating it.
