In this guide, you’ll learn how to install Wrye Bash in Skyrim. You have to follow the steps below to install it.
2. Double-click to launch the Wrye Bash installer and click on ‘Next’.
3. Wrye Bash should automatically detect your Skyrim Special Edition installation directory.
4. If you also have Fallout installed, it will appear here. Click ‘Next’ again to continue.
5. On the next window, you need to check all the boxes carefully, then proceed to Install and wait for Wrye Bash to complete installation.
6. After that, checkmark the box that says ‘SkyrimSE’ and tap on Close.
7. The Wrye Bash will open and it will detect the main Skyrim files but no mods.
8. Now you need to open Mod Organizer 2 and click the settings icon at the top left corner. After that, click the ‘+‘ symbol and select ‘Add From File.’
9. Now navigate to where the Wrye bash has been installed. In this case, it is under Steam > Steamapps >common> Skyrim special edition >Mopy> Wrye Bash. Select the Exe file, click Open and then click on the Apply button on the next window.
10. From the drop-down bar at the top right side, you can select WryeBash.
11. You can also add it to the toolbar and can add a desktop shortcut from the upper right corner of Mod Organizer.
12. Now, you can launch WryeBash using Mod Organizer. Once it loads, you will see that Wrye Bash has now detected all the mods you have installed through Mod Organizer.
