This guide will let you know how to invite Crossplay Friends in Battlefield 2042. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to invite them.
When you cross-play with your friends on a different platform, you will not be able to communicate through in-game chat. If you are playing on PS5 and your friend is playing on PS4, you will not be able to play with him. So now you need to download and install the PS4 version on your PS5 to play with your PS4 friends.
Now you need to tap over to the Options button right next to the Play game button and then go to select versions. You can download the PS4 version of the game on your PS5. Now you need to tap over to the social tab and then go to invitations, and from the search bar, you can search for your friend with his EA id. Once you enter the id in the search bar, you need to click on the search button to find the list of players. You need to find your friend’s id and then press X on their name and select add as friend option.
If you cannot find your friend in the list, then your friend’s game version is different. To add them, you need to go to the PS4 version of the game and then search for their names and send them invitations. Once you send them invitations, they will appear in their party and friends tab.
