This guide will let you know how to join a party in Rocket League. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to do so.
The first thing you will need to do is press the Square button from your controller to create a new party which you can also see at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the image below.
It will open up a new tab, and you will find your friend list there, and you can invite people to your party.
To send an invite, you first have to select the person’s name and then press the X button from your controller to send him the party invite. After that, press the R2 button from your controller to open up the menu option.
The next thing you will need to do is tap on the notification icon to find a yellow highlighted notification there. You have to select the party invite, allowing you to join the party. If you are playing on a PC, you will not receive any pop-up notification on your screen, and if you are playing on Xbox or Playstation, you will see a new pop-up tab on your screen.
You will also receive a join option under notifications; press the join button to join your friend’s party easily.
If your friend is not using a PlayStation and playing on a different platform, you must press the square button to open the search bar. You will need to enter your friend’s Epic ID in that bar; you can find this epic ID under your Xbox live gamer tag or your Playstation gamer tag, as shown in the image below.
When you enter the epic ID, you need to press the OK button to add your friend to your friend list.
