How to Kick Out Any Villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

In this guide, you will find out how to Kick Out any Villager or get Rid of Unwanted Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The first thing you have to do is talk to two to three villagers and it won’t matter who.

When you have talked to some villagers, you need to save the game and exit.

After that, time travel forward by one month and one day.

If you started on March first then you need to go up to April second and start the game.

Once you are loaded in, you need to exit the game after saving and then time travel one month backward. So in this case that would be going from April 2nd back to March 2nd. Then load back up the game and check and see if anyone is thinking about leaving. You can tell if someone wants to leave by seeing them thinking or having a thought bubble over their head.

So if you find Meringue here thinking, however, it’s the wrong villager so you just have to close down the game without saving, and then time travel up by one day. You need to go up from the second of March to the third of March and keep doing (i.e keep time traveling one day ahead) this until you see Lolli thinking.

When you see Lolly has a thought bubble, you can go ahead and give her the all-clear to move out. So she’s gonna be in boxes tomorrow and then the day after that, you’ll have your open plot.

There are a couple of things you should keep in mind.

When you run past every villager’s house and through the square, make sure you don’t see anyone thinking. The second important note is to make sure when you’re searching for someone thinking, you need to do it in under five minutes before the autosave goes on. The last thing is if you don’t see a villager with thoughts two times in a row, then you need to move forward a day instead of back a day again.
