This guide will let you know how to level up the Skinning in the New World. You will also find out where you can get enough experience to the Skinning Level by killing the corrupted hounds.
Before getting into Brightwood, you must have Skinning Level 55 to skin any animal; it is the requirement you should have to skin the animals. You can get the 165 experience to the skinning level by skinning the wolf, as you can see in the image below.
All you need to do is come over to the location on the left of the Shadowmine Shrine. You can see the marked location on the map below.
After getting to the marked location, you will get the corrupted hounds there, and you need to kill them. It will be easier for you to kill the corrupted hound. After harvesting them, you will get a 276 experience to the skinning level, which is much greater than the normal wolf. It is equal to getting the experience after killing the two wolves.
You have to explore the area. In this area, you can kill many corrupted hounds as their spawning rate is very high. As soon as you kill one hound, the other hound will spawn in another place. It is the most reliable way to level up the Skinning, and you will be able to kill enough corrupted hounds at this place.
After reaching Skinning Level 55, you will be able to skin the animals in the Brightwood. You will almost get the same experience by skinning the animals in the Brightwood as you can get by killing the corrupted hounds in that place.
In this way, you can level up the Skinning in the New World.
