Basalt Bridge Maker is used to make a bridge over the lava and then you can easily cross the lava.

The first thing you have to do is to place a blue ice block and slime block on the ground. Add an observer at the top of these two blocks.
After this, add a piston in front of one observer and slime block in front of the other. Place one more piston at the bottom of the slime block and a slime block at the bottom of the piston, as shown in the following image.
Now you have to dig the ground around and under it up to 3 blocks deeper. Place slime blocks under the piston to make an “L” shape and add a soul soil just next to it.
The next thing you need to do is to clear your way by removing more blocks of the ground.
Now you just have to place a block at the back to activate the Basalt Bridge Maker. It will make a bridge over the lava and you will be able to cross it easily.
