Bow is a ranged weapon to kill mobs from a distance. Bow can be used if you have arrows in your inventory.
To make a Bow, you will need Wood log, Spiders for Strings, Wood Planks and Wood Sticks. Please follow the following steps to make a Bow.
Wood Log
In order to make a Bow basic item that you will need to get a Log of of wood. Chop down any tree to get at least one piece of wood log.
Spiders for Strings
After that the next required item that you need to get is strings. You can find spiders in caves and kill the spiders using your iron sword to get at least three strings.
Wood Planks
After that make wood planks from oak wood blocks that you have collected. Make your way to the crafting table and add oak wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wood planks. Bring these wood planks into inventory.
Wood Sticks
Now you need to craft sticks from wood planks using the crafting table. Open up 3*3 crafting grid and add four wood planks in adjacent cells of any column, as shown in the image below. Four wooden planks will give you eight sticks. Add them in inventory to use later.
Bow
Now you can craft a bow as you have collected all required items. Use crafting table once more and open up 3*3 crafting grid to add three spider strings in the first column and two sticks in the second column except the middle cell, and one stick in the middle cell of the last column. you will get a Bow in the right side box of the crafting table. Add this item in your “ready to use” stock.
