A Barrel is a craftable block that is used to store different items. It functions like a single chest although it requires no air space above it to be opened.
To make a Barrel, you will need Wood Log, Wood Planks and Wood Slab. Please follow the following steps to make a Barrel.
Wood Log
In order to make a barrel, the basic item that you will need to get is a wood log of any kind. So get that from trees using your iron axe. You need to get at least three pieces of wood logs.
Wood Planks
After this, you have to make wooden planks from oak wood logs. Head towards the crafting table and add wood blocks in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into four wooden planks. Bring planks into inventory.
Wood Slab
Now you need to craft oak slab using the crafting table. Add three oak planks in any row of the crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get six oak slabs in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these slabs into your inventory.
Barrel
Now you can craft Barrel as you have all the required items in your stock. Open up 3*3 crafting grid and add six wood planks and two wood slabs in the same way as shown in the image below. You will get one Barrel in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this Barrel in your “ready to use” stock.
