The Black Bed allows the player to sleep through the night and skip to the next dawn, and they reset the player’s spawn point to within a few blocks of the bed. You can use a bed at night so that the mobs won’t spawn around you.
To make a Black Bed, you’ll need Wood Log, Sheep Wool, Squid for Ink Sac, Wood Planks and Black Wool. Please follow the following steps to make a Black Bed.
Wood Log
In order to make a Black Bed, the basic item that you will need to get is a Log of wood. Find any kind of tree and use your iron axe to chop down a log of wood.
Sheep Wool
The next item that you will have to find and get is wool. Look for sheep around the field and get at least three wool out of them. Don’t kill them, just use shears to get wool.
Squid for Ink Sac
After that you will have to find and kill squid to get an ink sac. You will find them under the ocean, use your iron sword to kill a squid. You will have to get at least three ink sacs.
Wood Planks
After that make wood planks from an oak wood block. Make your way towards the crafting table and add wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wooden planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into four wooden planks. Bring these planks in your inventory.
Black Wool
Now you have to craft Black Wool by adding three sheep wool and three ink sac in any two cells of any row of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get three Black wool in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these Black Wool in your “ready to use” stock.
Black Bed
Now use the crafting table once more to craft a Black bed. Open up its 3*3 crafting grid and choose any two adjacent rows to add three wood planks in lower row and three Black wool in upper row to get a Black Bed in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this bed in your “ready to use” stock.
