Wood Buttons can be used to trigger doors, trap doors, etc. for a short period of time. To make a Button (Wood) you will need, Wood Log and Wood Planks. Please follow the following steps to make a Button (Wood).
Wood Log
In order to make a button, the basic item that you will need to get is a Log of any kind of wood. So find any tree and get at least one log of wood using your Iron axe.
Wood Planks
After that make wood planks from oak wood blocks you have collected. One wood block will convert into four wood planks. Add wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting grid. Bring these wooden planks into inventory.
Button (Wood)
Now you can craft a button (stone) using the crafting table. Go towards the crafting table and open 3*3 crafting grid to add stone in any cell of the grid. You will get one wood button in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add this button in ready to use stock.
