Dark Oak planks are one of the craft able blocks in Minecraft. They can be used for building structures, as crafting ingredients and as fuel.

In order to make Dark Oak Planks, the basic item you will need is Dark Oak wood Log. Find a Dark Oak tree and chop it down using your iron axe to obtain a wood log. You can find Dark Oak trees in the Roofed Forest Biome.

After that you need to use the crafting table to craft Dark Oak wood planks. Head towards crafting table and open up 3*3 crafting grid. Add Dark Oak wood log in the center or any cell of the grid and you will get four Dark Oak wood planks from a Dark Oak log in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these Dark Oak planks in your “ready to use” stock.
