Gray Carpets are thin blocks used for decoration. They are useful if you want a carpeted floor without using wool blocks as the material.
To make a Gray Carpet, you will need Sheep Wool, Skeleton Bone, Squid for Ink Sac, Bone Meal, Gray Dye and Gray Wool. Please follow the following steps to make a Gray Carpet.
Sheep Wool
In order to make a Gray Carpet, the basic item that you will have to find and get is wool, so find sheep and get at least two wool out of them. But don’t kill sheep, just use shears to get wool.
Skeleton Bone
The next item that you will have to get is skeleton bone. You will need to find and kill at least one skeleton to get the bone.
Squid for Ink Sac
The next required item is ink sac. You will have to find and kill squid to get ink sac. Look for them in the water. You need to get at least one ink sac.
Bone Meal
After that move towards the crafting table and add skeleton bone in any cell of the 3*3 crafting grid. You will get bone meal in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add the bone meal into your inventory.
Gray Dye
Now you need to make Gray Dye by using the crafting table. Add bone meal and ink sac in adjacent cells of any row or column. You will get Gray Dyes in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Gray Wool
After that you need to craft Gray wool by adding 2 wool and 2 gray dyes in adjacent cells of any row or column of 3*3 crafting grid, as shown in the image below. You will get two Gray wool in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these gray wool into your inventory to use later.
Gray Carpet
Now add these two gray wools in adjacent cells of any row of the 3*3 crafting grid and you will get three gray carpets in the right-side box of the crafting table. Bring the carpets in your “ready to use” stock.
