Lecterns hold a single book and quill or written book that other players can read at the same time. To make a Lectern, you’d need Wood Blocks, Sugar cane, Cow Leather, Wood Planks, Paper, Book, Bookshelf and Wood Slab. Please follow the following steps to make a Lectern.
Wood Blocks
In order to make Lectern, the basic item you need to get is any kind of wood logs. Go towards the forest and get at least three logs of wood using your iron axe.
Sugar Cane
The next required item that you will have to find and get is sugar cane. Sugarcane can be found on grass blocks near the banks of rivers. You need to get at least nine pieces of sugarcane.
Cow Leather
The next thing you will have to find is a cow in order to get leathers. For that you will need to kill them to get at least three leathers. Go towards the fields to find and kill them.
Wood Planks
After that you will need to make wooden planks from oak wood blocks. Make your way to the crafting table and add 3 wood blocks in the center cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wooden planks. Bring these wooden planks into your inventory.
Paper
Add nine sugarcanes in any row, three in each cell of the selected row. You will get nine papers in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add these papers into your “ready to use” stock. You can use the papers to make books.
Book
Now add nine papers and three leathers in 3*3 crafting grid in the same way as shown in the image below. You will get three books in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these books into your “ready to use” stock.
Bookshelf
After this, you will need to craft a bookshelf, add six wooden planks and three books in 3*3 crafting grid by following the exact pattern shown in the image below. You will get a bookshelf in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add this into your “ready to use” stock.
Wood Slab
Now you need to craft oak slab using the crafting table. Open up 3*3 crafting grid and add three oak planks in any row of the crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get six oak slabs in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add these slabs in your “ready to use” stock.
Lectern
Now finally you can craft Lectern by using the crafting table. Add oak wood slabs and bookshelf by following the exact pattern shown in the image below, so that it should make a shape of lectern. You will get a lectern in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this lectern into your “ready to use” stock.
